The law of nature

Lightning flashing fires of mercury

Melting hearts in beauty  heat

Cutting ties, slicing sleekness

Blood pouring out  white

Unnoticed by blindness

Mistaken for passiveness

Nature was cutting continents.

Birth pangs are painful

Depression brings creation

Water cuts land from land

Much is lost and gained

In continent creation.

Choices

The tree looked elsewhere

It was searching for sun light

Its tall trunk slowly bent

Reaching out to the brightness

The neighbour complained

He did not understand the tree

It just wanted to see light

It just wanted to breathe fresh

It just wanted to live well

The man did not hear the tree

He was deaf and dumb
Evolved Trees - painting- oil on canvas - Mr.S.Chellaiah

With years of selfishness

Building houses after houses

To protect him in old age

The tree cursed his power

When the men with axes

Brought it down swiftly

It fell like an innocent child

Screaming out of desperation

Unheard by brutal noise.

The Gods welcomed its soul

No more births, they said.

'You have evolved well

More than men educated

More ignorant than others'.

Why forgive?

Forgiveness - the wheel of life

The wheel has to move

Scars will stop the flow

By becoming blocks

The stamps have to melt

Dissolve into the clouds

Bringing rains to mortals

Pain becomes wisdom

Face mellows in kindness

Knowing the profound

Human intelligent ignorance

Mistaking words

Misunderstanding events

Human limited intelligence

Creates scars of perception

Scars are not scars

Scars are knowledge givers

Forgiving our ignorance

Forgiving others' ignorance

This is the wheel of life

Revenge

Revenge

The woman was too upset

She never thought this straw

Should be with dripping life

Standing erect with wetness

Shining green hitting the eye

Saving the planet from death.

She wanted to throw mud

Driven by her insecurity

Threw mud in anguish

Spilling over herself

Seeing the consequences

She spilled more mud

Spilling continued

Lost her way in self death

Lost her way in suppression

Lost in self-abusal of  suppression

Lost in loneliness of alone-ness

The powerless woman

Satisfied her greed to rule.

Women should wake up

To see the power of their

Leadership at homes

To become proud of their

Contributions every day

She should bring a smile

She should bring a joy

To her soul, to her mind

To live to celebrate life

And to leave mud to the ground.

Be grateful to Life

Be grateful to Life

Be grateful to the endless Oxygen

Be grateful to the endless water

Be grateful to the sounds of children

Be grateful to the music of your heart

Be grateful to the Moving wind

Be grateful to the loving tears

Be grateful to forgotten worries

Be grateful to living memories

Be grateful to the pain of thorns

Be grateful to the turn of events

Be grateful to be born

Be grateful that you will leave one day.
